If you will be in town for more than just the one day, we have some suggestions of other exciting things to do in the area.

How about another SCA event? This same weekend (but on Sunday), this same barony, this same low low event fee –
The Extraordinary Bhakail Fencing and Fighting Championships and Commons!!!
(ask us about ride shares and crash space)

Interested in Greek, Roman, Etruscan, Phrygian, Cypriot, and Mesopotamian antiquities? We’ll be just a couple blocks from the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology. Tucked away in a corner, they also have some high quality large photographs of Byzantine art on display now. Also, for 2 half hour windows each day, they open up a conservation lab to the public. I believe they are working on one of their mummies right now. Oh, did I mention the amazing Egyptian collections, too? That’s only part of what this museum offers.
cost: general admission is $10, but tickets for Midas exhibit are extra
hours: Tuesday-Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm; closed Mondays

But what about the Arms and Armor of Medieval Europe? Step on over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

<more to come, but I wanted to make sure these 3 things were listed before Pennsic>
