Kingom of Far, Far Away outside Bhakail Camp at Pennsic

Greetings all!

The Bailiwick of Ivyeinrust will be hosting an informal gathering for those that attended or were unable to attend Pennsic War 47. Attendees are encouraged to share knowledge they gained in classes & on the field, as well as stories of their adventures.

Help yourself in your Pennsic decompression, learn from your fellow SCAdians, and enjoy relaxed company in an air-conditioned atmosphere with access to flush-toilets ;-)

The Post-Pennsic Social will be held on Sunday, August 19th from 2pm until 6pm.

The location will be the Common Room at West Lofts – 220 S. 47th St, Philadelphia, PA 19139

On-street parking is available, there are steps at the front door, but there is a side entrance with 3 steps, and a small lot for anyone with mobility issues. There is also a ramp, but please contact the hose beforehand to arrange for use.

Please respond to the host, Lord Martyn via email at seneschal@ivyeinrust.eastkingdom.org and let him know you are coming! Also contact him with any questions.

Feel free to bring a snack or beverage (any type) to share, some non-alcoholic beverages and a few snacks will be provided.

Previous announcement:

I’m sure many of you are busy preparing for, or even already on site working with staff for Pennsic. However, that doesn’t mean it is too soon to plan for “Pennsic Decompression.”

The Bailiwick will be hosting a Post-Pennsic Social on Sunday, August 19th from 2pm-6pm. It will be held in the well-air-conditioned Common Room of WestLofts – on street parking is free, and typically very easy to find.

Light snacks and some non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, and others are encouraged to bring snacks & beverages to share.

The Post-Pennsic Social is meant for everyone, whether you attended Pennsic or not, and will serve as a place & time to get together to share things you learned in classes, discovered in your wandering, and hang out in a relaxed space – this is a no-garb occasion, and not an event. There is no fee or monetary donation for this event, however we ask that you RSVP here, or via email to seneschal@ivyeinrust.eastkingdom.org so that plans can be made to accommodate everyone.

Please feel free to email me with any questions, and I look forward to seeing many of you on Sunday, August 19th!
