At today’s Bailiwick meeting, the following things were decided:

Please welcome Val (full SCA name TBD) as our new deputy MoAS

The next two meeting dates will be Tuesday, November 11th and Tuesday, December 16th at 7:15pm

November 7th we will be carpooling to Hartshorn-dale’s dance practice (if you have any 100% cotton or linen fabric scraps, I can collect them for papermaking)

We will not be holding A&S on November 28th because that’s too many things. Instead, rides will be available to Harts & Horns on November 29th.

Next field trip planned!
Let’s go to the Walters Art Museum on Friday, December 26th
They are closed Christmas eve and Christmas Day, but I’m pretty sure the 26th is after that. So they should be open 10am-5pm

You will be responsible for your own travel. This early, Amtrak tickets are pretty cheap if you go early and leave late.
Transit from the train station to the museum is free. The Walters is located along the Purple line of the Charm City Circulator at stop number 307.

Admission is free https://thewalters.org/visit/guidelines/

If you decide to save money (right now 6am train tickets are only $5) and arrive before the museum opens, let’s plan to meet at Ceremony Coffee, which opens at 7am, just a block or so from the museum

And let’s tentatively pick Refocused Vegan, which is open until 8pm on Fridays, as a place we can spend time after the museum closes if you are looking at later train tickets home. But we can also do further research.
