Tavern Talks in the Bailiwick, Sun, Mar. 8 @ 1pm, City Tap House

Hello All,

Tavern Talks, like Spring, are just around the corner. As we finish out our winter stores, what, you might ask yourself, might we do in the coming spring and summer to stock up for next winter? Well, in her talk “We be Jammin’ … And Drying and Smoking…”, this month’s speaker, Alana O’ Keeve asks you to join her she explores medieval methods of food preservation, including drying, salting, smoking, pickling, and preserving in honey. Come plan your summer garden with the harvest in mind!

All the best to you!
