Those of your coming to our event, but to take classes and to give them, might want to know more about how to access rare books at the University of Pennsylvania.  We are very happy to facilitate getting you access, but we also figure you might also want to know how it works.

The University of Pennsylvania uses a third party system called Aeon to organize and track requests. https://aeon.library.upenn.edu

And absolutely anyone can create an account and request access to our rare books! Including you!

Once you go to create an account, it will step you through what access you will get, when, where, and what the policies are for out reading rooms.  You can also remotely request digital scanning, should you find something where you need an image not already available in our extensive digital collections.
